You are 100% responsible for making sure you will be able to make an upgrade. You will be responsible for any Restocking and Shipping fees associated with you order. Please consult your dealer or installing mechanic before trying any type of upgrade. Theft Lock Codes: If equipped AND ALSO activated, THEN it is the buyer's responsibility to get the RADIO code from the dealer or installing mechanic. The donor vehicle VIN (the vehicle from which the car ORIGINALLY came) will be included on the invoice to help obtain the code from the dealer or installing mechanic. If the dealer or mechanic charges a service fee to obtain the code, it is buyer's responsibility to pay it. Feel free, however, to contact us to see if we can obtain a code for you from our network of dealers and technicians. XM/Sirius/OnStar & Other Satellite Equipped Components: Listing will NOT include service from these providers (XM, SIRIUS, OnStar etc). ADDITIONAL PERTINENT INFO: Please check the part number with your dealer and mechanic to see if it will need reprogramming or if it is compatible with alternate models and/or applications. Before replacing RADIO please confirm all electrical problems are resolved which led to the instrument cluster going bad so that you do not burn out the one we send you (ex. electrical-shorts, faulty electrical parts, weak battery, defective ignition coils/solenoids, idle-control, relay-control, water damage . . .)
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: Is this the right part for my car? You MUST make sure the part number in our item description matches the one for your car. Sometimes, there are other numbers our computers will replace, if you are not sure – ASK first. Does this RADIO need to be programmed? There are many factors which can require after replacement; it is customer’s responsibility to do their research (check manual and consult with credible dealer/mechanic) and find out whether their part will need programming. If the RADIO does need programming, the programming fee in addition to our warrantied RADIO will still often be hundreds of dollars less than a new one from the dealer. Additionally, many mechanics and online sellers offer programming that is TOTALLY unnecessary. DO NOT fall for gimmicks and pay for programming that you do not need. Do I need to send in my old broken cluster? NO! We don’t want to inconvenience you with a complicated messy EXCHANGE and the hassle of mailing a computer in. However, in some cases we PAY YOU for your old broken one. If your RADIO has a rebate we will include a “buy back” offer when we ship out your replacement. Do you repair broken RADIOS? Of course! The Hollander Interchange provided computer specific information as to the vehicle the computer compatible with. It is more accurate than EBAY’s compatibility section and is intended for the automotive professional. However, matching the part number off the bad computer when it is in your hand it ALWAYS the best way to go. My part number is different but from the same car, will it work for me? That depends on your exact part number, feel free to email, text, or call us beforehand and we will gladly let you know whether the computer described in this listing is a functional replacement for your car. I bought the wrong part number by mistake, can I return it? Sure! We realize mistakes happen. As long as it is within 30 days of purchase you can return the item for a full refund (less actual shipping costs and 20% restocking fee). If a RADIO is dead on arrival we need a mechanic’s receipt or a dealer certificate that is signed and dated which clearly states the part number they received and the problem with the part. The purpose of this is twofold: First, it PROTECTS you from unscrupulous mechanics who do not like you buying such an inexpensive part from a wholesaler-- they prefer to up-sell you and sell you a more expensive replacement.
