Theft Lock Codes:


 If equipped AND ALSO activated, THEN it is the buyer's responsibility to get the RADIO code from the dealer or installing mechanic. The donor vehicle VIN (the vehicle from which the car ORIGINALLY came) will be included on the invoice to help obtain the code from the dealer or installing mechanic. If the dealer or mechanic charges a service fee to obtain the code, it is buyer's responsibility to pay it. Feel free, however, to contact us to see if we can obtain a code for you from our network of dealers and technicians.



XM/Sirius/OnStar & Other Satellite Equipped Components:

 Listing will NOT include service from these providers (XM, SIRIUS, OnStar etc). If you wish to retain respective services, then you must get them at your expense. If an optional antenna is needed, it will NOT be included unless stated otherwise. Please read above before asking. RETURNS:

1. If you are still within the time-frame of 30 days from date of purchase, kindly EMAIL US and provide a reason for returning the item. If part “does not work” we will replace it with the same part. If part “does not work” and you want money back , part is subject to a 20% restocking fee.


2. To initiate a return, buyer must contact seller in a message through ebay messaging or hassle free returns (contact seller) and obtain a valid RMA# (return merchandise authorization number).

3. Returns will be credited in the form of payment received.

4. Original and or Actual shipping charges are NOT refundable.

Please check the part number with your dealer and mechanic to see if it will need reprogramming or if it is compatible with alternate models and/or applications.

Before replacing RADIO please confirm all electrical problems are resolved which led to the instrument cluster going bad so that you do not burn out the one we send you (ex. electrical-shorts, faulty electrical parts, weak battery, defective ignition coils/solenoids, idle-control, relay-control, water damage . . .)

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Is this the right part for my car?

You MUST make sure the part number in our item description matches the one for your car. Sometimes, there are other numbers our computers will replace, if you are not sure – ASK first.

Does this RADIO need to be programmed?

There are many factors which can require  after replacement; it is customer’s responsibility to do their research (check manual and consult with credible dealer/mechanic) and find out whether their part will need programming.

If the RADIO does need programming, the programming fee in addition to our warrantied RADIO will still often be hundreds of dollars less than a new one from the dealer.

Additionally, many mechanics and online sellers offer programming that is TOTALLY unnecessary. DO NOT fall for gimmicks and pay for programming that you do not need.

Do I need to send in my old broken cluster?

NO! We don’t want to inconvenience you with a complicated messy EXCHANGE and the hassle of mailing a computer in. However, in some cases we PAY YOU for your old broken one. If your RADIO has a rebate we will include a “buy back” offer when we ship out your replacement.

Do you repair broken RADIOS?

Of course! With over 25 years of Auto Computer Service we’ve honed our craft and our MASTER TECHS can repair most kinds of damage to circuit boards.

What is the Hollander Interchange?

        The Hollander Interchange provided computer specific information as to the vehicle the computer compatible with.  It is more accurate than EBAY’s compatibility section and is intended for the automotive professional. However, matching the part number off the  bad computer when it is in your hand it ALWAYS the best way to go.

My part number is different but from the same car, will it work for me?

     That depends on your exact part number, feel free to email, text, or call us beforehand and we will gladly let you know whether the computer described in this listing is a functional replacement for your car.

I bought the wrong part number by mistake, can I return it?

Sure! We realize mistakes happen. As long as it is within 30 days of purchase you can return the item  for a full refund (less actual shipping costs and 20% restocking fee).

I bought the correct part number but it did not solve my problem, can I return it?

My mechanic says the RADIO is bad, can I return it?

If the RADIO is bad, we will gladly REPLACE it with a working RADIO AND REIMBURSE you for the shipping costs associated with exchange.

If a RADIO is dead on arrival we need a mechanic’s receipt or a dealer certificate that is signed and dated which clearly states the part number they received and the problem with the part.

The purpose of this is twofold:

First, it PROTECTS you from unscrupulous mechanics who do not like you buying such an inexpensive part from a wholesaler-- they prefer to up-sell you and sell you a more expensive replacement. 

If there is something genuinely wrong with the part they should have no problem documenting it and committing their name to paper on a service receipt or dealer’s certificate.

Secondly, the mechanics receipt protects us should a mechanic try to send back a perfectly working part because of misdiagnosis.

I would like to buy more than one item from you can you offer a bulk discount?

Sure, we are wholesalers after all and we will gladly extend a discount to our loyal repeat customers.

Why do you charge a 20% Restocking Fee?

99.99% of the time we sell perfect parts in excellent condition with generous warranties. Our restocking fee’s help keep our prices low and our parts warrantied. Each time we list and sell a part, we pay fees and the part requires extensive handling (re-testing and shipping).

Another way to look at the 20% fee is as a misdiagnosis fee. You pay a small amount to use our RADIO to test what is wrong with your car, if it doesn’t fix the problem you can rule out the RADIO.

Finally, every time you plug an electric part in, there is risk that you may have an underlying electrical short in your system that fries out our RADIO. That is why most seller’s offer no returns on electrical parts. We offer a very generous refund policy and warranty compared to most sellers -- a 20% restocking fee is only fair.

When does the warranty take effect and what does it cover?

Our warranty takes effect as soon as you pay for the part. It covers the RADIO from defects in workmanship or breakdown. If the RADIO fails under the warranty period we will provide a functional replacement for it upon receipt of the return. This warranty DOES NOT cover and any labor costs associated with the part's installation.

Are there any core charges?

Is this part available for local pickup?

The battery was disconnected from my vehicle and now my radio display is flashing "CODE" and the radio doesn't work. Where can I find my radio code?

If an audio unit with theft protection is disconnected from electrical power, you must enter a unique code into the unit or it will not work. This code and the audio unit's serial number are listed on the anti-theft ID card that comes with the vehicle. If this card is lost, you must obtain the audio unit serial number in order to get the radio code. Once you have the audio unit serial number, you can go to the Radio & Navigation System Micro-site to retrieve your radio code. Some newer vehicles allow you to retrieve the audio unit serial number electronically from the radio. Refer to your owner's manual for the specific procedure. Most older vehicles (model year 2003 and older) require a visit to the dealer in order to retrieve the audio unit serial number. If dealer assistance is required to retrieve your serial number, the dealer will be able to provide the radio code as well.
